Day 11 - Minisink Ford, NY

Today, the last day of summer, Sue and I took a Sunday ride to York Lake, along the way we stopped at Minisink Ford, NY along the Delaware River between NY and PA to walk around and over Roebling's Delaware Aqueduct Bridge. This bridge is part of the Upper Delaware National Park System and was one of the earlier bridges built by the famous builder of the Brooklyn Bridge, Roebling. The bridge was built in the 1800's as part of the upstate canal system. It is a very handsome bridge, just of Route 97 in Sullivan County, about 25 miles west of Port Jervise, NY and about 120 miles Northwest of NYC.

The weather was beautiful and after our walk around the bridge we headed to the lake to enjoy the last day of summer! I've attached some pictures to capture the day.
